Woolenwick Junior School is seeking to appoint a friendly, skilled teaching assistant to support a child . We would like someone who is committed to active learning, promoting positive attitudes and the inclusion of all, as well as someone with a good sense of humour  and commitment to working as part of a team.

This post is for a 1:1 classroom assistant, working closely with the class teacher, to provide an enriched learning journey for the child. We will be expecting you to provide 1:1 and sometimes small group support. You will need to have strong maths and English skills (minimum grade C at GCSE or equivalent) and be prepared to adapt learning as you support the child.
We want to help you to make a difference to the learning in our school and enjoy doing it. Therefore, we will offer support and exciting opportunities for professional development.

This post is a fixed term contract for as long as the child is at our school.
Woolenwick Junior School has Anti-Bullying and Inclusion accreditation.

Visits to the School are welcome and encouraged.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the school expects all staff to share this commitment.

Please contact the school office on 01438 216565 for an application form or email Justine Terry Head’s PA on Justine@woolenwickjm.herts.sch.uk
